Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality operations in a precision machining environment. You will oversee the QMS, drive continuous improvement, and ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements.

You will mentor the quality team, collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering, and manage inspections from incoming to final, including CMMs. A strong background in ISO 9001 and PPAP/APQP is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of quality experience within precision manufacturing.
• 3+ years of quality leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, GD&T, dimensional inspection, SPC, MSA, and root cause analysis.
• Experience with CMMs, quality systems, and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the quality team.
• Manage and improve the QMS, ensuring compliance with ISO and customer standards.
• Partner with Manufacturing and Engineering to improve processes, reduce defects, and enhance product quality.
• Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections, including CMM and precision measurement activities.
• Lead root cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement projects.
• Serve as the primary quality contact for customers, suppliers, and audits.
• Support quality planning activities, including PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and capability studies.
