Job summary

RW Screw Products, Inc. in Massillon, OH is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee QA/QC in a precision machining environment.

You will lead a quality team, develop and maintain IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 systems, and drive continuous improvement through PFMEA, APQP, CAPA, and data-driven decision making. The role requires strong leadership, extensive quality management experience in manufacturing, and familiarity with GD&T, CMMs, and SPC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 7 years manufacturing quality, with at least 3 years in a quality management or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 quality management systems, including audits.
• Experience in a machining or metal manufacturing environment preferred; GD&T, CMM, and precision measurement knowledge.
• Proficiency in Six Sigma methodologies; Green Belt required, Black Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the quality management system (IATF 16949 / ISO 9001).
• Lead the Quality Assurance team and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, and control plans for new and existing parts.
• Lead internal and supplier audits; manage CAPA processes and corrective actions.
• Monitor KPI metrics (scrap, rework, FPY, COPQ) and report to senior management.
