Job summary

Acero Precision, a medical device precision machining leader in West Chester, PA, seeks a hands-on Quality Control Manager to lead inspection activities, support quality system compliance, and collaborate with manufacturing to ensure every part meets customer expectations.

The role demands strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills, FAIs, and ISO knowledge, plus leadership to mentor quality personnel in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years quality experience in precision machining or medical device manufacturing.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation.
• Experience performing FAIs and production inspections.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality systems.
• Leadership or mentoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily quality operations for precision-machined components.
• Review scheduled jobs and verify revisions, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Develop and maintain inspection plans, processing sheets, and quality documentation.
• Perform and oversee FAIs, in-process inspections, and final inspections.
• Support machinists and production personnel with technical quality guidance.
• Lead MRB activities and disposition decisions.
• Investigate NCRs and customer complaints; drive corrective actions.
• Train, mentor, and develop inspectors and manufacturing personnel.
