Job summary

RW Screw LLC is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee quality assurance and control in a precision machining environment. You will lead the quality team, develop QMS under IATF 16949 / ISO 9001, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring customer requirements and regulatory standards are met.

The role emphasizes PFMEA, APQP/PPAP, CAPA, and measurement systems, with reports to the General Manager. Strong leadership, engineering background, and Six Sigma proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• ASQ CQM or CQE preferred.
• 7+ years of manufacturing quality experience, with 3+ in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 and related audits.
• Machining/manufacturing environment experience; GD&T, CMM.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA.
• Leadership and development of a quality team.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 quality management system and serve as Management Representative.
• Lead quality team, set performance expectations, conduct reviews, and develop staff.
• Oversee PFMEA, APQP, PPAP and risk mitigation activities.
• Manage internal and external audits, including customer and surveillance audits.
• Lead customer and supplier quality management; respond to quality issues and implement CAPA.
• Monitor KPIs, prepare reports, and present to senior management.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Purchasing to improve quality and processes.
