Job summary

Higher Heights Home Care Inc. is seeking a qualified professional to oversee and coordinate services for residents in Level III Residential Treatment.

The role includes supervising staff, ensuring NC DHHS and Medicaid compliance, and developing Person-Centered Plans to support independence and community integration. The position emphasizes collaboration with families and providers, crisis intervention duties, and on‑call rotation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field with 2+ years of post‑degree experience OR Master's degree with 1+ year of experience.
• Knowledge of NC DHHS requirements for Qualified Professional in MH/IDD/SA preferred.
• Knowledge of 10A NC DHHS.G.1700 standards and Medicaid service definitions preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Intensive Home Care and Behavioral Health Care experience.
• Valid NC driver's license, acceptable driving record and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily services delivery to ensure compliance with NC DHHS and Medicaid requirements.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Person-Centered Plans.
• Supervise and support direct care staff and paraprofessionals/associate professionals.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation progress notes, reviews, and incident reports.
• Collaborate with families, guardians, and community providers.
• Provide crisis intervention and participate in on-call rotation.
