Job summary

Baptist Children's Homes of North Carolina is seeking a Qualified Professional to oversee group homes serving residents with developmental disabilities. You will supervise staff, ensure policy and regulatory compliance, and contribute to person-centered planning and team-based care.

The role emphasizes clinical oversight, documentation accuracy, and proactive quality improvement within BCH. A strong supervisory background in IDDD settings is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Master’s degree in related human service field with 1 year of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or a non-related Bachelor’s with 4 years of relevant experience.
• At least 2 years’ experience in developmental disabilities with supervisory or administrative responsibilities.
• Direct care or group home management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned home(s) under the Director of IDDM and participate in evaluations.
• Maintain open communication with staff, residents and families; coordinate staff training.
• Develop and maintain PCPs and oversee clinical and non-clinical services according to plan of care.
• Ensure compliance with DHSR regulations and complete PQI reports quarterly.
• Manage administrative duties including payroll, budgets, and staff scheduling.
• Provide monthly supervision to direct support staff and monitor incident reporting.
