Job summary

Cardinal Services, Inc. of Indiana is seeking a Qualified Disability Professional (QDP) to oversee and coordinate personal support plans for individuals with disabilities in a supported living setting.

The role includes supervising Residential Supervisors and ensuring alignment with state and federal regulations. The position requires a Highschool Diploma or GED, at least one year of direct support experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of direct support experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist individuals as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate each person’s plan across health, nutrition, development, and living skills.
• Monitor progress and ensure achievement of individual goals.
• Supervise Residential Supervisors, including hiring, evaluating, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality, ethics, and the rights and dignity of individuals with disabilities.
• Represent the organization with integrity in daily operations.
• Ensure residential program operations align with standards and community connections.
• Assist individuals as prescribed in behavior plans or during emergencies.
• Maintain a calm temperament during difficult or aggressive situations.
