Job summary

The State of Ohio seeks a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional to lead and coordinate client-focused habilitative programs at the Tiffin Developmental Center. You will chair the interdisciplinary team and align services from speech, medical, psychology, and other specialists to meet individual goals.

Demonstrated experience with person-centered plans, program evaluation, and compliance with Medicaid/licensure standards is essential.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience working directly with persons with intellectual disability or other developmental disabilities.
• Must hold one of the following: Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy; Registered Nurse; or a bachelor’s degree in a professional human services field (e.g., psychology, education).
• Compliance with Medicaid and licensure standards; ability to develop and coordinate client programs and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Independently manages and coordinates development and implementation of client-based habilitative programming for youth residents.
• Chairs interdisciplinary team and coordinates services from internal and external support services.
• Ensures documentation meets Medicaid and licensure requirements and supports compliance with agency rules.
