Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor for the first shift in the Silver Spring area. The role focuses on leading QA staff in the laboratory and on the production floor to ensure products meet quality and safety standards, while coaching teams and driving continuous improvement.

The position involves preparing for audits, reviewing data, and collaborating with departments to maintain regulatory compliance and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical education in biology, chemistry, food science, health sciences or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of QA or manufacturing experience in food/beverage industry.
• Experience with laboratory and production floor QC practices.
• Familiarity with sanitation, beverage processes, and microbiological techniques.
• Knowledge of HPLC and GC methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA personnel, organize daily activities, and communicate quality, safety, and performance expectations.
• Develop team through training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Partner with Production to resolve quality concerns and support food safety practices.
• Oversee QA programs, documentation, training, and internal audits.
• Review laboratory data, investigate exceptions, and identify trends for corrective actions.
• Prepare for audits and support regulatory and customer inspections.
