Job summary

Zaddy Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor for a confidential beverage manufacturer in the Silver Spring area. You will lead QA teams on the production floor and in the laboratory to ensure product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

This role focuses on coaching staff, reviewing laboratory data, supporting audits, and partnering with plant departments to improve processes and maintain consistent product quality. First shift with potential for additional coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a science field.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in the food/beverage industry.
• Lab equipment testing in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of sanitation and aseptic techniques.
• Familiarity with HPLC and GC.
• Strong analytical, math, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and team development skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• First shift availability with flexibility for coverage.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA personnel, assign daily activities and set quality expectations.
• Develop team through training and performance feedback.
• Partner with Production to resolve quality concerns and ensure food safety.
• Oversee QA programs, documentation, audits, and training.
• Maintain compliance with product specs, regulations, and customer expectations.
• Review lab data, investigate exceptions, and identify trends for action.
• Recommend process improvements based on results.
• Prepare for and assist with audits (regulatory, customer, internal).
• Lead continuous improvement to strengthen quality and customer satisfaction.
