Job summary

Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure Plc is seeking a PV Maintenance Supervisor to lead on-site PV plant maintenance across Imperial Sun Solar and Overnight Solar assets in Southern California and Arizona. The role requires 5–7 years in solar maintenance with supervisory experience and strong safety knowledge.

You will coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, manage SAP PM work orders, and partner with ROC for alarm triage. Travel between sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Associated degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Minimum 5-7 years in solar PV operations & maintenance or utility-scale maintenance.
• Minimum 2-3 years in a supervisory role directing field technicians.
• Knowledge of PV components: modules, inverters, trackers, and balance-of-plant equipment.
• Strong electrical safety knowledge: LOTO, arc-flash, high-voltage switching.
• Familiarity with SCADA/DAS and CMMS (SAP PM or equivalent).
• Willingness to travel between Southern California and Arizona sites.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site maintenance team for safe, reliable PV plant operation.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance across multiple PV assets.
• Ensure safety compliance with LOTO, arc-flash, and high-voltage procedures.
• Coordinate with ROC/SCADA for alarms and maintenance planning.
• Manage work orders in SAP PM or CMMS and track performance trends.
• Oversee vendor and contractor management, including safety orientation.
• Coordinate outages and site access; document work and results.
• Support new-site integration and ramp-up activities.
