Job summary

Strata Clean Energy in Emporia, VA is seeking a Power Plant Maintenance Supervisor to lead regional maintenance of utility-scale PV plants. You will oversee field teams and subcontractors, ensure safety, manage budgets, and coordinate with Operations Support.

Candidates should have at least five years of experience on energized AC/DC systems, three years supervising electrical work, and strong knowledge of electrical theory and PV fundamentals. Travel to remote project sites is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
• Five+ years’ experience on energized industrial AC and DC systems.
• Three+ years’ experience supervising electrical work.
• Strong knowledge of electrical theory & PV fundamentals.
• Willingness to travel to remote project sites.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all staff and subcontractors follow OSHA/NFPA and internal safety policies.
• Monitor day-to-day operation of utility-scale PV plants via DAS, SCADA and CMMS systems.
• Assign and monitor maintenance activities to optimize plant performance and efficiency.
• Manage regional plant maintenance budget, inventory, purchasing and invoices.
• Assist in staffing planning and training of employees.
