Job summary

LVI Associates in Florida is seeking a Florida-licensed Professional Surveyor & Mapper (PSM) to lead high-profile transportation, infrastructure, and development projects across the state.

You’ll provide technical leadership, oversee project delivery, mentor staff, and manage client relationships with public and private sector partners, while ensuring compliance with Florida regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Florida Professional Surveyor & Mapper (PSM) license required.
• 8+ years of progressive surveying experience.
• Experience managing survey projects and technical teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Experience reviewing and signing survey deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Surveyor of Record for transportation, infrastructure, and land development projects.
• Review, sign, seal, and certify survey deliverables per Florida regulations.
• Lead project planning, execution, scheduling, and quality control efforts.
• Oversee field crews, CAD technicians, and project survey staff.
• Manage client relationships and coordinate with public/private sector clients.
• Support business development and pursuits throughout Florida.
• Mentor and develop junior survey professionals and future leaders.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
