George F. Young, Inc. (GFY) seeks a Professional Surveyor & Mapper (PSM/PLS) to lead and manage high-profile surveying projects in Florida.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, Florida licensure or the ability to obtain within 12 months, and strong AutoCAD/Civil 3D skills. Responsibilities include project management, team leadership, BD activities, and delivering accurate plats, ALTA/ROW surveys, topography, and legal descriptions while ensuring quality and client satisfaction across

Qualifications

• Registration as a Florida PSM/PLS or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• 10+ years of surveying and mapping experience, including FDOT projects.
• AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience mandatory.
• Proficiency with surveying equipment and data collection.
• Strong BD and client-relations capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise surveying and mapping projects in the market area.
• Lead a team of surveyors and mappers; provide training and support.
• Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and work plans; ensure QA/QC.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors for project progression.
• Develop and implement BD strategies; seek new contracts and opportunities.
