Job summary

TRG Management is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in the United States (New York area) to lead the day-to-day maintenance operations across our residential properties. You will supervise technicians, manage preventive programs, and ensure safe, efficient building performance.

You will coordinate with vendors, oversee repairs, and maintain quality service for residents while upholding OSHA standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school cert is a plus.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred or required per company policy.
• 3–5 years of apartment maintenance experience, including supervisory duties.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, schedule, and mentor maintenance technicians and grounds personnel.
• Oversee completion of resident service requests with quality workmanship and timely responses.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for buildings and systems.
• Perform repairs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry and painting.
• Inspect property, vacant units, common areas, and systems to identify maintenance needs.
• Coordinate and supervise outside contractors while ensuring safety and standards.
• Maintain inventory and control expenses within budget and safety protocols.
