Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Maintenance Manager to coordinate with the Community Manager and Assistant Manager to safely maintain the exterior and interior of the property within budget. This role aims to boost resident retention by ensuring repairs are prompt, safe, and efficient.

You will supervise maintenance staff, manage the budget, handle POs and invoices, and oversee safety, inspections, and code compliance. On-site duties include after-hours emergencies and mentoring the team.

Qualifications

• Two years of multifamily maintenance experience and/or training.
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience.
• EPA certification required; CPO preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff and develop a skilled team of technicians.
• Maintain operating budget and secure bids for supplies and services.
• Process purchase orders and invoices to control costs.
• Prioritize work orders for timely completion and resident satisfaction.
• Oversee safety, inspections, and compliance with codes; report injuries.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Coordinate with property manager and respond to emergencies.
• Implement preventative maintenance and stay on call for after-hours emergencies.
• Mentor and train team members to enhance skills.
