Qualifications

• A professional survey license with multi-state licensure preferred.
• Four-year degree preferred and/or 10+ years in a consulting business.
• Effective verbal and written communication is necessary and independent judgment is essential.
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
• Handle multiple priorities and projects well.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of survey projects and monitor operational effectiveness.
• Serve as SME for survey activities including staking, topographic surveying, platting, and boundary analysis.
• Define project tasks, schedule and resource requirements with the Project Manager.
• Evaluate project budget, scope, and fee with the Project Manager.
• Complies with and helps the enforcement of company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct team meetings with project team to evaluate and coordinate the project.
• Stays current on service-specific trends, technology, software, hardware, and equipment.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and mentoring to project team staff as needed.
• Responsible for quality control and quality assurance related to the survey activities on each project.
• Ensures division, regional, and company policies and practices are consistently followed within the survey service.
• Lead by example – display solid judgment, good values, trust, honesty, openness, and professionalism.
