Job summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Scheduler 2 to advance complex project schedules across active sites. You will visit job sites, draft, update, and review schedules, and mentor junior teammates, aligning work with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

The role requires strong scheduling know-how, proficiency in JE Dunn tools, and collaboration with project teams; you will participate in planning, baseline updates, and reporting to support on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years planning and scheduling experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Ability to visit job sites and review status
• Willingness to travel and work non-traditional hours

Responsibilities

• Prepares, builds and updates project schedules collaboratively with the project team.
• Performs schedule reviews to ensure effective and efficient best practices for scheduling are utilized.
• Participates in all phases of the construction planning & scheduling process, including the creation of proposal schedules, baseline schedule and ongoing schedule updates.
• Utilizes working knowledge of JE Dunn scheduling software.
• Assists with and performs training for JE Dunn operations and with training content for internal groups.
• Assists with the development of best practices for JE Dunn planning and scheduling efforts.
• Visits job sites regularly to review job status and update schedules accordingly.
• Attends project-related meetings where schedule is discussed.
• Supports Lean and Pull Planning sessions aligning CPM with pull plan results.
• Supports preparation of various project reports.
• Adds resource loading and cost loading to schedules as needed.
