Job summary

The Kinetic Group in Lonoke, Arkansas, is seeking a Project Mechanic to maintain, repair, fabricate, and rebuild precision tooling and production equipment. You will apply advanced machining, tool & die expertise, and equipment overhauls to keep manufacturing running safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates have tool & die certification or journeyman status, with extensive experience in close-tolerance machining, blueprints, and CAD/CAM drawings.

Qualifications

• Tool & Die Maker Certification or Journeyman Card
• Close-tolerance machining and precision measurement
• Ability to read blueprints, CAD/CAM drawings

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain precision manufacturing equipment.
• Operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and related shop tools.
• Fabricate replacement parts and fixtures as needed.
• Read engineering drawings and ensure tight tolerances.
• Document maintenance and improve equipment reliability.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain clean work area.
