Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate basic or specialized machine tools for precision work.
  • Inspect parts with micrometers and gauges for conformance.
  • Read drawings to determine sequences of operations.
  • Install repaired or new parts into equipment.
  • Design fixtures or tooling for specific needs.
