Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking a Project Manager to lead projects across a solar ingot/wafer facility, spanning infrastructure, utilities, equipment, and automation. You’ll drive design, procurement, installation, commissioning, qualification, and handover to operations while maintaining strict scope, schedule, budget, and safety standards.

The role emphasizes strong communication with stakeholders, cross-functional collaboration, and rigorous project controls in a live manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical field.
• 5+ years project management in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Experience with facilities, utilities, manufacturing equipment, or automation.
• Knowledge of PM principles: scope, schedule, budget, risk, procurement, contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects to increase production capability and reduce costs.
• Develop charters, business cases, plans, estimates, schedules, risks, and resources.
• Define scope, objectives, requirements, milestones, and success metrics.
