Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Project Manager to lead the Modifications and Upgrades business, coordinating with customers, engineers, manufacturing, and vendors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. This role oversees kickoff meetings, scheduling, risk management, and invoicing, with travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications include a degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering or related field, 3+ years of project management experience, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems of material handling equipment.
• 3+ years of project management experience.
• Willingness to travel 35–50% within continental US and Canada.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite; Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead 3–5 projects simultaneously across diverse customer locations.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships and transition from Sales to Operations.
• Lead Project Kickoff Meetings and review contract requirements.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and resource plans.
• Coordinate procurement, vendors, subcontracts, and changes.
• Forecast costs, track invoicing and project profitability.
• Direct project teams and subcontractors to complete milestones.
• Travel to project sites for status updates and coordination.
• Ensure closeout with complete as-built documentation.
