Job summary

Sunrock seeks a Project Manager (Heavy Civil Construction) to lead the full lifecycle of construction projects, from estimating through closeout, on active sites in North Carolina. You will coordinate with general superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and clients, while managing schedules, costs, and risks to meet safety, schedule, and budget targets.

Qualifications

• Degree preferred in CM, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in construction PM, estimating, or heavy civil ops.
• Experience with DOT/municipal/highway projects preferred.
• Equivalent combinations considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of construction projects from estimating through closeout.
• Ensure safety compliance with MSHA and OSHA.
• Manage schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate material flow, subcontractors, and field operations.
• Provide regular project updates to leadership and clients.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Oversee billing and cost reporting.
