Qualifications

• 10+ years of total experience in engineering/project management, preferably in rotating equipment or heavy industrial sectors.
• 5+ years of dedicated project management leadership or supervision experience.
• Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
• PMP certification desired.
• Ability to prioritize across a multi-project portfolio and meet deadlines.
• Experience with Lean / Value Stream Mapping and continuous improvement.
• Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally for customer, vendor and unit visits.
• Knowledge of accounting and project finance is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of project managers with performance management and coaching.
• Oversee execution of the project portfolio from sales handover to final acceptance.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones and deliverables and support recovery plans.
• Apply risk management practices and track mitigation plans for each project.
• Act as escalation point for customers, Sales and internal departments on issues and changes.
• Coordinate with other WEG units to align schedule, quality and documentation.
• Define and report department KPIs and promote continuous improvements.
