Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Project Manager in Oakbrook Terrace, IL to lead cross‑functional teams across transmission, substations, distribution, gas, and IT projects. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and safety, guiding projects through capital approval and closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 4-7 years PM experience, or High School Diploma and 6-9 years PM experience
• CAPM certification or achieve CAPM within two years of job entry (PMP certification will fulfill)
• Demonstrated and documented success at managing projects
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader including handling conflicting priorities
• Demonstrated strong independent judgment skills
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal and time management skills
• Valid driver's license and access to an automobile

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall project performance for transmission, substation, distribution, and gas projects.
• Manage costs, schedule and scope, developing recovery plans when needed.
• Coordinate project requirements with external and internal stakeholders.
• Communicate with sponsor and key stakeholders at executive level.
• Ensure good working relationships between project team and interfacing organizations.
• Coach and lead team members to complete assigned tasks.
• Identify and obtain project team resources.
• Ensure team members understand their responsibilities.
