Job summary

PULLMAN, a Structural Group company, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial restoration projects in Kansas City. You will manage complex restoration and repair initiatives from preconstruction through closeout, guiding cross-functional teams and delivering results for a diverse client base.

The role requires 7–12 years in commercial construction/restoration, strong financial acumen, and travel approximately 20–30%.

Qualifications

7–12 years of experience in commercial construction/restoration.
Experience managing projects from $1M–$5M+.
Strong financial acumen with budgets and projections.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction/project management software.
Demonstrated leadership ability with mentoring.
Willingness to travel locally (20–30%).

Responsibilities

Take full ownership of project execution—from preconstruction through closeout—while leading high-performing teams and delivering exceptional results.
Manage self-performed, complex concrete repair and restoration projects.
Oversee contracts, including preparation and negotiation with internal teams.
Develop and maintain project schedules with field leadership.
Own project financials, including P&L, forecasting, and cost control.
Lead and mentor project teams and subcontractors.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business.
Champion safety and quality across all phases of work.
