Job summary

PULLMAN, a Structural Group company, is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex restoration and repair projects in Kansas City, MO. You will own execution from preconstruction to closeout, guiding cross-functional teams to deliver safe, high-quality results for commercial structures.

The role requires 7–12 years in commercial construction or structural restoration, strong budgeting skills, and travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of experience in commercial construction and/or structural restoration.
• Proven success managing projects ranging from $1M–$5M+ in value.
• Experience with structural concrete repair, waterproofing, façade restoration, and historic restoration (preferred).
• Strong financial acumen with budgets and projections.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction/project management software.
• Demonstrated leadership ability with mentoring and developing others.
• Willingness to travel locally (approximately 20–30%).

Responsibilities

• Own project execution from preconstruction through closeout.
• Lead self-performed concrete repair and restoration projects.
• Oversee contracts, including preparation and negotiation with internal teams.
• Develop and maintain project schedules with field leadership.
• Manage project financials, including P&L and cost control.
• Lead and mentor project engineers, field managers, and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with Estimating and Business Development on bids and proposals.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business.
• Champion safety and quality across all project phases.
