Job summary

North Carolina State University’s DELTA is seeking a Lead Project Manager to drive complex, cross-team initiatives with discipline, collaboration, and organizational excellence. You will coordinate technology, instructional development, media production, marketing, communications, and governance efforts, reporting to the Director of Project Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of project management experience.
• Ability to coordinate across design, technical, instructional, production, and vendor teams.
• Experience leading teams without formal supervisory authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead prioritization, definition, coordination, and management of complex DELTA projects across multiple teams.
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, dependencies, resources and timelines with stakeholders.
• Develop schedules, timelines, reports, and workflows to improve visibility and accountability.
• Facilitate feasibility discussions, resolve competing priorities, and negotiate deadlines to address challenges.
• Mentor new project managers and help advance organizational practices across DELTA and the university.
