Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering tech and six years progressive technician experience.
• High School/GED diploma with eight years of progressive technician experience.
• Equivalent education and experience as allowed by the grade requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead project inspector for Marion Construction, monitoring daily contractor operations.
• Supervise and train lower-level technicians and CEI staff.
• Review test reports to ensure correct sampling, testing, and documentation.
• Resolve constructability issues and ensure proper traffic control and phasing per plans.
• Ensure compliance with permits and DBE requirements and coordinate with contractors and utility owners.
