Job summary

Blythe Construction, Inc. in Greensboro, NC seeks a Project Engineer with a civil engineering or construction management degree and at least five years of related experience to support asphalt projects.

This position emphasizes scheduling, cost control, procurement, and coordination with field teams and subcontractors. You will help manage CPM schedules, process pay requests, supervise engineering staff on multiple projects, and uphold safety and quality standards in a dynamic outdoor

Qualifications

• Requires a college degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Five (5) or more years of experience as a Project Engineer, with emphasis on roads, highways, and bridges.
• Ability to direct field operations and supervise engineering on multiple projects.
• Proficient in Excel, Primavera, SAP and related construction software.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with formulating and updating project schedules.
• Build and maintain CPM schedules and cost reports.
• Process purchase orders, subcontracts and change orders for PM review.
• Coordinate material deliveries and shop drawings with field team and subs.
• Lead safety, quality control and project communications.
