Blythe Construction in Raleigh, NC seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee day-to-day civil/heavy highway construction operations. You will ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget, while coordinating with on-site Superintendents and Engineers.

Responsibilities include developing schedules and budgets, negotiating with clients, reviewing changes, managing subcontractors, and driving safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years on large design-build heavy/highway projects.
• Thorough knowledge of heavy civil construction equipment.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of employees.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site Project Superintendents and Project Engineers.
• Develop project schedule and budget; manage billing and change orders.
• Negotiate with the client and coordinate with the Division Manager.
• Ensure safety and quality, maintain client relationships.
• Review and approve change orders and final quantities reports.
• Lead training and recruitment activities for construction engineers.
