Job summary

Blythe Construction, Inc. is seeking an Asphalt Paving Foreman to provide on-site leadership for asphalt paving projects such as highways, streets, parking lots, runways and driveways.

You will supervise an asphalt crew, monitor progress, measure slopes and material thickness, and coordinate with the Project Manager to meet schedules and production targets. The role requires 3–5+ years in asphalt/paving, DOT experience preferred, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of industry experience, with emphasis on asphalt and paving.
• DOT experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record required.
• Work directions understanding and effective communication with site supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, training and assistance to an asphalt crew on site.
• Tour job sites to monitor progress and resource utilization.
• Measure slope and material thickness to verify contract compliance.
• Communicate daily with Project Manager or Superintendent about schedule and production needs.
• Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment performance, product quality and crew performance.
• Maintain time and materials records for daily job costing.
• Adhere to company policy and ensure crew safety.
