Suncor Energy Inc. in Colorado is seeking a Project Engineer to lead multi-disciplinary teams through all project phases, from scope development to handover to operations.

You will manage schedules, costs, and procurement, while coordinating with internal and external partners to deliver safe, reliable outcomes. We offer relocation assistance, a competitive annual incentive bonus, a 401(k) plan with matching, and a defined benefit pension.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 5–7 years of project engineer experience in the industrial sector (petro-chemical refinery environment preferred).
• Project management proficiency; PMP or other relevant certification would be considered an asset.
• Strong non-authoritative leadership abilities; build positive relationships with diverse groups.
• Proven problem-solving skills with ability to create solutions for complex technical issues.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the USA for the duration of employment.

Mansioni

• Develop and execute projects ranging in size from $100,000 to $30M in various areas of the refinery.
• Provide in-depth technical support, expertise and guidance for design and construction of new projects.
• Identify, evaluate, recommend, and implement opportunities to gain efficiencies through new technologies or improved processes.
• Lead development of all project deliverables and ensure project milestone dates are met.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans throughout the project life cycle.
• Develop project documentation and change management per Suncor's standards, including SOWs for EPC activities.
• Maintain project meeting notes, actions items, decisions, changes and communications.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Project Controls and the Integrated Team to evaluate and award contracts.
• Build relationships with Engineering consultants, Vendors and Contractors, Construction staff, regulatory agencies and internal/external partners.
• Coordinate reviews of all Engineering Work Packages and construction work packages with stakeholders.
