Job summary

Sunoco LP seeks an experienced engineer to provide technical leadership in development, design, and execution of capital, expense, and maintenance projects. You will estimate costs, prepare AFEs, procure materials, and support safe, efficient installations across pipeline and terminal operations.

You will manage multiple projects with budgets and schedules, mentor junior engineers, and ensure compliance with safety rules and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with preference for Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering.
• 6-10+ years experience in engineering and project management; pipeline/petrochemical exposure preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficient in Excel and general PC skills; Microsoft Office proficiency required.
• Strong initiative, decision-making, and team collaboration abilities.
• Basic knowledge of petroleum products and industry terminology.

Responsibilities

• Develops and performs cost estimation; prepares AFEs for capital and expense projects.
• Prepares specifications and procures materials/equipment for project execution.
• Provides technical support for safe, efficient installations.
• Performs engineering, design, installation, and startup of projects; may supervise contractors.
• Manages multiple projects within budgets and schedules.
• Mentors junior engineers and ensures compliance with safety and regulations.
