Job summary

Vermeer Corporation seeks a manufacturing engineering leader to supervise a team and drive high-quality output on the production floor. You will work cross-functionally with Product Engineering, Sales, Service, Procurement, HR, and Finance to execute projects on time and within budget.

The role focuses on safety, capacity, productivity, and quality, including building financial cases for investment decisions and aligning with Vermeer’s strategic goals. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing leadership role or equivalent.
• Strong budgeting, financial analysis and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, organize, mentor and coach the manufacturing engineering team to drive Vermeer culture and results.
• Ensure project needs are met within original timeframes by securing resources and setting priorities.
• Ensure goals such as test plans, production prep, product performance, and capital plans are met; adjust when needed.
• Create financial business cases for manufacturing investments aligned with Vermeer goals.
