Job summary

Vermeer Corporation is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional project teams and ensure alignment of goals with the product group's long-term strategy. The role focuses on influencing, planning, scheduling, and proactive risk mitigation to drive identified goals to completion.

The position involves directing planning, execution, and delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards on onsite projects. Occasional travel may be required, with a first shift work schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of experience in project management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects from planning through delivery on time and within budget.
• Ability to mentor others in project management principles and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the efforts and manage the overall planning, execution and delivery of assigned projects within scope, schedule and budget.
• Act as a cross-functional liaison between engineering, product management, operations, sales, marketing, finance, and service teams.
• Provide guidance, problem solve, and drive accountability to ensure project goals and intent are met.
• Determine budgets, resources and timelines; prepare reports on progress for leadership and stakeholders.
• Manage evolving project risks and develop contingency plans to protect scope and outcomes.
