Job summary

Turner Construction Company, Augusta division, seeks an experienced manager to oversee engineering and administrative policies at the project level. You will coordinate with field operations to ensure transfer of information is delivered, understood and implemented.

Reports to Project Manager or Senior Project Manager, leading engineering staff, assuring safety and compliance, and guiding information flow among the project team throughout procurement, construction, and close-out.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus at least eight years of related construction experience.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and cost controls.
• Knowledge of estimating, scheduling, and construction costs; familiarity with BIM and building systems.
• Strong computer skills and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive working knowledge of contract documents.
• Lead, supervise and develop engineering staff, including performance appraisals.
• Ensure adherence to safety, ethics and compliance requirements.
• Communicate information among all project team members.
• Establish procedures with designers, consultants, owner and subcontractors for information flow and approvals.
• Support GMP/preconstruction efforts and procurement scheduling.
