Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Manager, Project Designer in Santa Fe, NM to lead design efforts for assigned accounts. You will act as the main client contact, implement workplace strategy, and mentor design staff to deliver efficient, high-quality space solutions.

You will collaborate with CRE teams, prepare final concepts, and ensure designs meet codes, safety standards, and client requirements while driving continuous improvement in workplace design.

Qualifications

• Holds Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited institution (NCIDQ a plus)
• 5-8 years’ work experience in two or more of: interior design, architecture or space planning
• Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
• AutoCAD proficiency required (REVIT a plus)
• Proficient with CAFM software (Serraview, Manhattan, Center Stone, Planon, Archibus)
• Proficient in programming and space planning for varying space sizes
• Ability to read and review construction documents
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience managing projects of varied scope and complexity

Responsibilities

• Serves as main point of contact for account
• Implements process documents aligned with workplace strategy
• Delivers client workplace model standards and suggests improvements
• Creates test fits and workplace improvements responding to client needs
• Proposes space efficiencies and aligns with real estate goals
• Collaborates with CRE team members and stakeholders
• Develops new workplace options with client approval
• Organizes data analytics and space solutions for presentations
• Ensures plans meet health, safety, and code requirements
• Maintains an organized project file system
• Administers Moves, Adds and Changes (MAC)
• Provides progress and completion reports
• Selects colors, materials, and finishes to meet concept requirements
• Specifies furniture and millwork for procurement and installation
• Maintains CAFM data supporting space allocation
• Trains and develops design talent for accounts
