Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks a Project Design Manager to lead a design team across accounts, implementing workplace strategy and standards while guiding associates through design projects.

You will mentor designers, manage timelines and budgets, review deliverables, and ensure safety, function, and aesthetics meet all codes and client needs. The role supports FF&E choices and client standards within a hybrid/remote framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited program.
• 4+ years of professional design experience.
• 4+ years of Revit experience in a professional setting.
• Strong time management, communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of design professionals from concept to construction.
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, standards and resources.
• Support project designers in quality review of design deliverables.
• Ensure new processes and design standards are communicated and implemented.
• Review space plans and concepts for safety, function, aesthetics and code compliance.
• Oversee furniture, fixtures, equipment and millwork selections and specs.
• Provide ongoing training on space planning, program management and FF&E.
• Contribute to client workplace standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and third parties as needed.
• Share FF&E vendor knowledge and resources with the team.
