Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Manager, Project Designer to lead design efforts for assigned accounts, implementing workplace standards and supporting design teams.

You will collaborate across CRE disciplines, develop space plans, and present final concepts to clients while ensuring compliance with codes and standards. The role emphasizes data organization, client communication, and continuous improvement of designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited institution (NCIDQ a plus).
• 5-8 years’ work experience in interior design, architecture, or space planning.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• AutoCAD proficiency required (REVIT a plus).
• Familiar with CAFM software (Serraview, Manhattan, Center Stone, Planon, Archibus, etc).
• Proficient in programming and space planning for varying space sizes.
• Experience reading construction documents and understanding codes and standards.
• Excellent organization, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage projects of varied scope and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Serves as main point of contact for the account.
• Implements workplace strategy and standards.
• Delivers client workplace model standards and suggests improvements.
• Creates test fits and workplace improvements based on client needs.
• Proposes space-efficient solutions aligned with CRE goals.
• Collaborates with Real Estate Portfolio Strategist, PM, Occupancy Planners, Move Managers and CRE team.
• Develops new workplace options with clients and finalizes concepts.
• Organizes data analytics and space solutions for client delivery.
• Ensures space plans and concepts meet safety and code requirements.
• Maintains organized project file systems and MAC administration.
• Provides project progress reporting and final outcomes.
