Job summary

Coalesce Management Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to support large-scale capital projects in the utility sector. You will help ensure on-time delivery, staying within budget and mitigating risk with effective reporting.

Responsibilities include leading scheduling, cost control, risk analysis, and executive-level updates. This role requires on-site collaboration with engineers and stakeholders to optimize project performance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of project controls management on capital projects.
• Background in large infrastructure projects (oil & gas, LNG, etc.).
• Strong experience in project scheduling, cost control and risk management.
• Proficiency with project controls tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

• Lead project controls functions across scheduling, cost management, and risk analysis
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with project milestones and deliverables
• Monitor project costs, forecasts, and budgets; identify variances and recommend corrective actions
• Implement and manage risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies
• Partner with project managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders to drive project performance
• Prepare and present project status reports, KPIs, and executive-level updates

• Background in large infrastructure projects required (oil & gas, LNG, combined cycle/simple cycle, etc.)
• Strong experience in project scheduling, cost control, and risk management
• Proficiency with project controls tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar)
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field
• Experience supporting large, complex utility or energy projects
