Moore Industries in Baton Rouge, LA, seeks a Project Controls Manager / Scheduler to lead schedule planning from preconstruction through execution. This role partners with estimating and operations to develop schedules, evaluate risks, and ensure time-driven costs are captured in estimates.

Responsibilities include maintaining detailed Primavera P6 schedules, coordinating with PMs and superintendents, and driving recovery planning while identifying risks and opportunities across projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction scheduling experience using Primavera P6.
• Strong knowledge of progress sequencing for multiple disciplines.
• Good understanding of Earned Value Management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple project schedules simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Develop bid and proposal schedules with estimators and project managers.
• Create detailed baseline schedules reflecting the execution plan.
• Maintain Primavera P6 schedules and other planning tools.
• Integrate subcontractor, procurement, engineering, and self-perform activities.
• Establish activity durations, logic, and critical paths.
• Support forecast, recovery planning, and change evaluation.
