Job summary

AECOM seeks a Project Architect to join our Buildings + Places team across Houston, Dallas and Austin, TX. You will lead design efforts, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and deliver high-quality architectural solutions for public and private clients.

Ideal candidates hold a Texas license or can obtain one within a year, with 4+ years of relevant experience and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and visualization tools.

Qualifications

• Licensed architect in Texas or ability to obtain licensure within a year.
• Bachelor's in Architecture required.
• 4+ years of professional architectural design and project delivery experience.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp; visualization tools Enscape or Lumion.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for projects in commercial, industrial, logistics and interiors.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants and stakeholders to integrate solutions.
• Prepare and oversee detailed design drawings, specs and reports per codes.
• Support client engagement through presentations, reviews and inquiries.
• Collaborate with senior architects and project managers to meet schedule and budget.
