Job summary

AECOM is seeking a talented and motivated Project Architect to join our Buildings + Places team in Houston, Dallas and Austin, Texas. This role leads design efforts across commercial, industrial, logistics and interiors sectors, delivering innovative and high-quality architectural solutions.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, oversee design documentation, ensure code compliance, support client engagement, and help deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Architecture is required.
• 4+ years of professional experience in architectural design and project delivery.
• Licensed Architect in Texas or ability to obtain licensure within a year of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Design Leadership: Lead design processes across commercial, industrial, logistics and interiors sectors.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and stakeholders to integrate architectural solutions.
• Documentation: Prepare and oversee detailed design documentation, drawings, specifications and reports.
• Client Interaction: Support client engagement through presentations and design reviews.
• Team Collaboration: Work with senior architects and project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
