Job summary

HKS, Inc, located in Washington, DC, is seeking a Licensed Architect to lead project teams in delivering exceptional designs and technical solutions for our clients. This role requires strong leadership skills, significant experience in architecture, and the ability to manage client relations effectively.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited degree in Architecture, a minimum of 15 years of experience, and advanced skills in key architectural tools. The base salary range is $125k - $160k, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Typically 15+ years of experience.
• Architectural Registration required.
• Sustainable design accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads team and other Project Architects in planning work and developing solutions.
• Collaborates with PIC/PM in defining project work plans.
• Creates and modifies complex detailed implementation documents.
• Leads development of code analysis and confirms code requirements.
• Supervises the preparation of documents by architectural team.
