Job summary

Purdue University in West Lafayette seeks a Lead Program Administration Specialist to provide strategic leadership for the Center for C-SPAN Scholarship & Engagement (CCSE). You will oversee programs, partnerships, and experiential learning while advancing education and public engagement through the C-SPAN Video Library.

Responsibilities include directing BGDC programs, coordinating conferences and institutes, managing budgets, and expanding statewide and national partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required with six years of progressive program coordination experience.
• Strong management, organizational and communication skills.
• Experience mentoring students and collaborating with faculty in a university setting.
• Experience with or appreciation of C-SPAN and Lamb School missions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage CCSE programs, operations, and strategic initiatives.
• Direct and teach BGDC Maymester and BGDC Summer Scholars Internship Program, mentoring students.
• Recruit, supervise, and support student interns in Washington, D.C.-based programs.
• Coordinate guest speakers, events, and public engagement activities.
• Oversee planning and execution of the biennial research conference on the C-SPAN Video Library.
• Lead the biennial research institute bringing leading scholars to Purdue; manage budgets and reporting.
