Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Palmdale, CA is seeking a Manager Program Planning 2 to lead cross-functional teams and oversee day-to-day sustainment, balancing maintenance, supply, and customer demands. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 9 years of related experience; OR a Master’s degree 7 years of related experience.
• Active US Government Top Secret clearance (with a background investigation within the past 5 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
• Ability to obtain and maintain initial SAP access via a PAR; this SAP/PAR must be obtained prior to commencement of employment and must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical integration authority on Product Support tasking for multiple program organizations.
• Provide technical leadership, direction, and mentoring to team members.
• Coordinate with other integration leaders across the program to ensure sharing and alignment of best practices.
• Maintain cognizance of shifting industry best practices, procedures, and USG guidance documents to generate opportunities and influence SOWs and ensure Northrop Grumman is a leader in the fields of project management and technical integration.
• Coordinate with other Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Program/Project Management, and other functions as needed to ensure the teams generate high quality and technically sound analyses on schedule for task completion.
• Formally present technical status, solutions, risks, and opportunities to leadership and the customer.
• Act as the CAM for technical integration team work packages as needed.
• Support and shape proposal activities.
