Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Palmdale, CA seeks a Manager Program Planning 2 to lead technical integration across multiple program organizations, balancing maintenance, supply requirements, and customer needs. This full-time, on-site role coordinates with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program Management to ensure timely, high-quality analyses and SOW alignment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in a STEM field with extensive related experience and active Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 9 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 7 years of related engineering experience.
• SCI eligible and current applicable Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical integration authority on Product Support tasking for multiple program organizations.
• Provide technical leadership, direction, and mentoring to team members.
• Coordinate with other integration leaders across the program to ensure sharing and alignment of best practices.
• Maintain cognizance of shifting industry best practices, procedures, and USG guidance documents to generate opportunities and influence SOWs and ensure Northrop Grumman is a leader in project management and technical integration.
• Coordinate with other Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Program/Project Management, and other functions to ensure high-quality, technically sound analyses on schedule for task completion.
• Formally present technical status, solutions, risks, and opportunities to leadership and the customer.
• Act as the CAM for technical integration team work packages as needed.
• Support and shape proposal activities.
