Job summary

The Axel Group, LLC is actively seeking a Professional Surveyor & Mapper (PSM) to lead our survey department in Florida. You will supervise field crews, review data, and sign/seal survey deliverables on a variety of residential, commercial, municipal, and recreational projects.

Applicants should hold a Florida PSM license and have strong leadership, communication, and project coordination skills. The role offers growth in a stable, well-funded firm with a collaborative culture and growth

Qualifications

• Active Florida PSM license in good standing.
• Experience leading survey crews and coordinating field operations.
• Excellent communication with engineers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction layout surveys.

Responsibilities

• Lead field survey crews performing boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, construction layout, and route surveys.
• Review field data, plats, descriptions, calculations, and deliverables for quality and compliance.
• Coordinate daily activities, schedules, and project priorities with field crews.
• Collaborate with CAD/drafting teams to ensure timely survey deliverables.
• Sign and seal survey documents.
• Foster a safe, accountable team environment.
