Job summary

TekWissen is seeking an L1 Support Lead for a 6-month hybrid role in Hartford, CT. You will lead L2/L3 production support for microservices apps, drive triage, RCA, and mentor a team to ensure timely resolutions.

Responsibilities include monitoring health with Splunk/Grafana/AppDynamics, managing Kubernetes/OpenShift deployments, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and guiding incident/change processes. Strong ITIL, Docker/Kubernetes, and Azure/GCP familiarity are required.

Qualifications

• 10 Years of Experience
• Strong hands-on experience with microservices architecture (Spring Boot, REST APIs, API Gateway).
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
• Experience with containerization & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Cloud exposure: Azure (Preferred) / GCP.

Responsibilities

• Lead L2/L3 production support for microservices applications, ensuring SLAs/OLAs.
• Act as primary technical escalation point for critical incidents and drive triage, diagnosis, and resolution.
• Perform RCA for major incidents and drive permanent fixes/preventive actions.
• Monitor health, logs, and performance with Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics, Prometheus.
• Coordinate with Dev, DevOps, Infra, and DB teams for issue resolution and change management.
• Review and approve incident, problem, and change tickets in ServiceNow/JIRA.
• Guide and mentor a team of support engineers; assign tasks and ensure quality of resolutions.
• Drive automation using Python/PowerShell and AI tools to reduce manual effort.
